Job Capacity Assessments
The HSA Group, through Work Solutions and Health For Industry, is a major provider of Job Capacity Assessments, a new Australian Government program that started on 1 July 2006. The program aims to help people who are able to work find employment.
Our specially trained staff assess a person's work capacity, identify any barriers to work and connect them quickly to services—e.g. job network members, disability employment networks, vocational rehabilitation—that assist them identify the opportunities that may be available to them.

What is the Job Capacity Account?
Job Capacity Account “…funds are reserved for clients who have pre-vocational barriers such as medical conditions or personal factors, but are otherwise job ready and suitable for assistance from Job Network.”
“The objective of Job Capacity Account services is to help clients overcome, manage or work around their pre-vocational barriers. This will enable clients to actively participate in and get the best results from Job Network.” The Job Capacity Assessment Service Provider Guidelines
Our Job Capacity Account Services
Our programs consist of six individually tailored sessions spread over an eight week period, specifically targeting pain management, anxiety, depression and counselling.
Pain Management
A comprehensive 8 week program tailored to assist clients in the management of pain. Also includes a physical conditioning program. Refer also Pain Program Fact Sheet (pdf 31kb)
Anxiety
A comprehensive 8 week program focused on reducing anxiety and panic in a variety of settings. Provides clients with tools to combat anxiety resulting from Phobic/Panic/Social/Traumatic/Generalised anxiety. Refer also Anxiety Program Fact Sheet (pdf 40kb)
Depression
A comprehensive 8 week program which addresses the reasons for depression and provides clients with an array of tools to manage and elevate their mood. Refer also Depression Program Fact Sheet (pdf 42kb)
Counselling
An individually tailored counselling program suitable for a wide range of psychological concerns, including grief & loss and anger management. Refer also Counselling Program Fact Sheet (pdf 30kb)
